Michigan Small Business Development Center

The Michigan SBDC will help you through developing a strong business plan for your project or new business. The also offer a large library of helpful learning materials to help you succeed.

If your project is for an existing business, they would need an itemized summary of how you would use the funds, a short description of the project, and up-to-date financials (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement).

If your project is a new business, they would be looking for a more formal business plan that an SBDC may help draft including an outline of the business model, management team, product, industry, competitors, and financial projections.
